With a lineage tracing back to 1948, Abhay Ispat stands today as a trusted partner in the steel value chain—manufacturing premium coated steel and enhancing sheet metal processing and distribution networks to meet the needs of tomorrow.
Led by three generations of the Mehta family, the Group has consistently aligned its strategy with India’s industrial growth story. What began as a trading business under the leadership of Late Shri Tulsidas Mehta expanded into distribution under Abhay Ispat, value-added coated steel through Colorshine, and structured channel relationships via ANM Ispat.
Today, Abhay Ispat stands as the integrating force behind a group of specialised steel-focused ventures — each operating with autonomy but unified by common values: trust, quality, and transformation.

Commenced Operations
The journey began with Late Shri Tulsidas Mehta, establishing family enterprise built on integrity and customer trust

Entered the Steel Trading Segment
Expanded operations into the steel sector, marking the Group’s first step toward becoming a recognised name in India’s steel trade

2002
Incorporated as Abhay Ispat Pvt. Ltd
Formalised as a private limited company, evolving from Abhay Enterprises

2007
Ventured into Steel Processing (Taloja)
Entered a joint venture for steel cutting and processing, enhancing value-addition capabilities.
2007
2015
Established ANM Ispat Pvt. Ltd
Formed as the Group’s distribution arm, exclusively handling Tata Steel flat-steel products across Western ,Central and Southern part of India.
2015
2016
Laid the Foundation for Manufacturing
Founded Colorshine Coated Pvt. Ltd. and began setting up a 120,000 TPA color-coated steel plant in Andhra Pradesh.
2016
2018
Commenced Manufacturing Operations
Colorshine’s first color-coating line became operational, marking the Group’s entry into value-added steel manufacturing.

2023
Backward Integration for Cold Rolling Complex
Commissioned an CRM complex with capacity of 360,000 TPA, strengthening the Group’s integrated production base.
2023
2024
Commercial Operations Begin
Full-scale commercial production launched for Al-Zinc and galvanised steel, completing the Group’s end-to-end steel value chain.
